The origin of the deadly villain ‘Morbius’ took place in ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’ in 1971 by Marvel comics. In their comics series, Marvel introduced Morbius as an award-winning biochemist named Micheal Morbius. The fictional character appeared in several adaptations outside of comics, including video games and animated shows. American video games and entertainment media website IGN ranked Morbius as the 19th greatest Spiderman villain. The scene was deleted before screening the show in theaters, and the scene was added as a bonus feature on the DVD release, later on.
