Braid is an indie video game created by Jonathan Blow and Number None. It features a character called Tim who goes on a thrilling adventure to rescue the princess. In this game, Tim has the special power to twist time, create doppelgangers, slow down and manipulate some objects or enemies. Thanks to the best effects and hand-drawn art style and mechanics, Braid is considered a classic adventure-filled game.

Papers Please

Created by Lucas Pope, an indie game developer Paper Please game was developed and published by his own production company 3909 LLC. Initially, it was launched on Microsoft Windows and OS X on August 8, 2013. This game starts in a fictional Dystopian country called Arstotzka where the players have to check documents and other papers before letting them in. It might look like an easy job until the players encounter with toughest decisions. Paper Please won “The Best Downloadable Game” award in the 2014 game developer choice award. 

Furi

Inspired by Japanese games such as No more hero, Metal Gear Solid and Godhand, the Furi game was developed and launched by the indie studio The Game Bakers. This game is designed with colourful visuals, science fiction settings, and covers only boss fights. It features a stranger who must go through ten floating island guards or bosses to escape from the prison. Furi has three endings with one secret ending. Furi is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Amazon, Nintendo Switch and Microsoft Windows. 

StarCrawlers

StarCrawlers is a role-playing game produced by Juggernaut Games and released on 27 May 2017. It was available on Windows, macOS and steamOs. In star-crawlers, the players will explore many dungeons, and unearth hidden treasures and many secrets. The game starts in a sci-fi universe with cyberpunk elements. 

To The Moon

To the Moon is a psychologically adventurous game invented and published by Freebird Games. In November 2011 it was released for Windows and later released on Mac OS X, Android, Linux, and Nintendo Switch. The game starts with two doctors who travel back to the past in order to fulfil an old man’s last wish. Here the player can control the two doctor’s minds and solve the puzzles to fix the dying man’s memory to fulfil the wish.
