1. Virat Kohli – India

Virat Kohli has his name on all records of the cricket. The world knows a player like Virat Kohli born once in a century and he has been proved with his unique set of statistics.

Wisden praises Virat Kohli, “His genius has been to rise, time and again, to the challenge. Between the end of the England tour in 2014 and the second Test against Bangladesh at Kolkata in November, Kohli averaged 63, with 21 hundred and 13 fifties.”

The current Indian captain has scored 21,000 runs which include 70 centuries and 7 double centuries at the age of 31. He is the player who obtained 22 centuries which is higher as compared to the rest of the players in the list. Kohli got the first position in the ICC Test and ODI ranking list for many years.

2. Steve Smith- Australia

The stunning and talented Australian Batsman Steve Smith occupied the 2nd position and got a name tag as ‘Virat’s rival’. Recently, Smith surpassed Kohli in ICC’s Test ranking but Virat reacquired it. Smith entered Test in 2010 and secured 7149 runs in 72 matches with the help of 26 centuries, 28 fifties ad 3 double centuries.

3. AB de Villiers- South Africa

AB de Villiers is the fieriest batsman in the world. He is well-known for his fastest century record in ODI in 31 balls. He made ODI debut in 2005 and Test debut in 2004.

4. Alice Parry – Australia

The 29-year-old Alice Parry is an all-rounder player. Alice has secured 4747 runs in 231 matches. In Test matches, she has scored 624 runs in 13 innings and in ODI her score was 3022 runs that include 2 centuries and 27 half-centuries. 

5. Dale Steyn – South Africa

The specialist bowler Dale Steyn won the hearts of people with his fast bowling. Steyn took 696 wickets in 262 matches for South Africa. Surprisingly, he became the best test bowler and held the title for four years.
