These fans have developed a fandom, contribute to the online presence of Kpop idols and shop merchandise of their favorites. The fandom culture began in the ’70s with singers Nam Jin and Na Hoon-a.
K-pop fans are called K-popper or K-pop stans. While an obsessive fan who stalks or intrudes into the personal life of K-pop idols is known as sasaeng.

Pronounced N-citizens, NCTzens are a serious fandom in my opinion. They were previously known as NCT stans and are chill but can go to extreme ends if triggered in the wrong way. The band members call their fan club ‘Tizennie’(Pronounced: Seasony).
EXO-L stands for EXO-Love. This is a thoughtful name because EXO-L stands between EXO-K( Korean) and EXO-M (Mandarin) which are the two divisions of the band. Sehun and Baekhyun have the most fans. Lee Soo Man, SM Entertainment’s executive producer as their president.
Blink is the portmanteau of Blackpink. Both BTS and Blackpink fans are extreme in nature but the one thing they have in common is, both want Jungkook and Lisa to become a ‘thing’.
Twice’s fandom refers to themselves as ONCE after a member gave the statement, “If you love us even once, we will repay your love with twice of our love.” Fans have also nicknamed the girl gang ‘Teudoongie’ and their haters are known as ‘Thrice’.
E.L.F stands for ‘Ever-Lasting Friends). The name was chosen by the Super Junior band’s leader, Leeteuk. SuJu was supposed to be an entry-type band. New idols would try out and graduate into popular bands after a certain period.
V.I.P stands for ‘Very Important People’. BIGBANG considers their fans to be their support system and address them as V.I.P. K-pop fan clubs call their BIGBANG idols ‘Panda’ endearingly. They have also introduced comic stripes for their favorite gang member too!
