  • Prince Haakon, Crown Prince of Norway, followed in the footsteps of his father and married a commoner named, Mette-Marit Tjessem Høiby. Before the wedding, she was a single mother. Haakon and his wife now share two children, Ingrid Alexandra and Sverre Magnus. Mette-Marit also has a son from her previous marriage.
