Night of the Living Dead

The line, “They’re coming to get you, Barbara.” is said by Johnny in the 1968 black-and-white horror film Night of the Living Dead. It was an American independent horror film, directed, written, photographed, and edited by George A. Romero. In the movie, Duane Jones played Ben and Judith O’Dea played Barbra. The plot focuses on the efforts of Barbra, Ben, and five others who are trapped in a rural Pennsylvania farmhouse and also shows how they struggle to survive and protect themselves from cannibalistic undead corpses. Those corpses begin to leave the graveyard and start hunting for fresh human bodies to devour. The director Romero produced the movie on a small budget of $114,000.
