Spain’s Christmas festivities don’t end until the Epiphany on 5 January, also former King Juan Carlos’ birthday.
In Denmark, the young royals steal the show, as in much of Europe, with Crown Princess Mary and Prince Frederik releasing a Christmas video featuring their adorable children, Prince Christian, Princess Isabella, Prince Vincent, and Princess Josephine. On 23 December, the royal family decorated the Christmas tree at the Palace by themselves. The Queen’s speech is saved for New Year’s Eve, rather than 25 December.
