Wilson Footballs

Major League Baseball is manufactured outside America, but companies still make footballs in America. The popular brand Wilson footballs are America-made, located 70 miles from Toledo, Ohio, in Ada. The Ohio‑Kentucky Manufacturing Company founded the factory in the 1930s, and Wilson now serves as an official supplier to the NFL. The company employs 120 people and they produce 4000 footballs per day and they make more than 7000,000 per year-all by hand.

Pyrex

Pyrex began making glassware in 1915, and World Kitchen bought the brand in 1998. The new owner made some changes and established the plant in Pennsylvania and started making the oven-safe glassware in the 1940s.

Gibson Guitars

Gibson still makes its guitars in the United States. Orville Gibson started making guitars in Kalamazoo, Michigan, in 1894. They made guitars in Nashville, Tennessee in recent years. It makes 2,500 guitars every week. They make all guitars by hand with the help of around 500 workers.

Hershey’s Kisses

The Hershey Company’s headquarters has been located in Hershey, Pennsylvania for more than 100 years. The company produces chocolates from all over the world now. The factory makes more than 70 million Hershey’s Kisses chocolates every day.

Merle Norman Cosmetics

The Merle Norman cosmetics company is committed to manufacturing in the USA. The factory is located in Los Angeles, California. Merle Mozelle Nethercutt started to create cosmetics with a combination of ingredients that match her complexion. She began her project in her kitchen. Merle Norman cosmetics follow the philosophy of “try before you buy.”
