Family members, previous medical professionals, and close friends also made statements, expressing worry about Michael’s weight and continuous use of prescription drugs. Winehouse was so addicted to alcohol that during her performance she needed to be held up to avoid falling. Her autopsy report revealed that her blood alcohol level was enormously high.

According to Monroe’s final report, she swallowed a deadly dose of the sedative chloral hydrate and the anxiety medication Nembutal, which is what ultimately led to her demise.
