Star-studded award night is around the corner! The 28th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards is scheduled to be held on Sunday, February 27, 2022, to honor the best of film and television. Screen Actors Guild Awards, aka SAG awards, are handed out by the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television in movie and prime time television. The event was introduced in 1952 to honor outstanding movie and prime-time television performances. 2022 Screen Actors Guild Awards Nominations, Presenters, and More

Rosario Dawson and Vanessa Hudgens announced nominations of the SAG awards in January. Sunday’s award ceremony will have 17 ensemble cast members as presenters.  Lady Gaga, Leonardo DiCaprio, Will Smith are Presenters at the 2022 Screen Actors Guild Awards. It will take place on Sunday, February 27, at Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California. The event will shift from Los Angeles’ Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall to Santa Monica’s Barker Hangar venue.

House of Gucci and The Power of the Dog topped film nominees, with each movie earning three nominations. Succession and Ted Lasso are the top Television nominees with five nominations each.
