Jade Jones has already earned two gold medals in Olympics, making her the sixth athlete in the history of the sport to win two gold medals. She is a well-known Welsh taekwondo athlete. She earned gold medals in 2012 and 2016 in the women’s 57 kg category.

Allyson Felix

Country: United States

Sport: 400m sprint and 4x400m relay

She won six gold medals and three silver medals. Allyson was the youngest champion to compete at the World Championships in 2005. At present, she is the only female sports star to win six Olympic golds from team USA.

Letesenbet Gidey

Country: Ethiopia

Sport: 5,000m and 10,000m

She is the best Ethiopian long-distance runner. She broke the world record of 10,000 m two days previously held by fellow competitor Sifan Hassan. Letesenbet became the first female athlete to hold the world’s record for 5,000 m and 10,000 m since the beginning of the 1990s, as per the Guardian.

Simone Biles

Sport: Gymnastics

Biles is considered the most dominant gymnast of all time. She is known as one of the greatest and most decorated American athletes. She became famous after competing in Rio in 2016, earning four gold medals.

Sky Brown

Country: Great Britain

Skateboarding

Sky Brown is the world’s youngest professional skateboarder to compete at Tokyo Olympics. She also won the American TV program Dancing with the Stars: Juniors. Sky Brown competes for Great Britain. She earned bronze at the World Championships in 2019.

Rikako Ikee

Country: Japan

Sport: Swimming

She is the most popular athlete in Japan. During the Olympic trials. She won four events that include 50m butterfly, 100m butterfly, 50m freestyle, 100m freestyle, held in April in Tokyo. In 2018, she was diagnosed with Leukaemia. After three years, she is representing Japan at Tokyo 2020.
