Pinehurst No.4 is considered the second-best course and was laid out by Donald Ross in 1919. The Pinehurst No.5 and No.6 were opened in 1961 and 1979 respectively. Pinehurst No. 7 and No.8 was designed by Rees Jones and Tom Fazio. Pinehurst No.9 was originally owned by a private club called “National Golf Club” later it was purchased by Pinehurst in 2014.

The first golf course in Bandon Dunes Golf course was opened on May 19, 1999. It was designed by Scotsman David Mclay Kidd. The second course of the resort is Pacific Dunes and it is the best course you may ever play. It is considered a golf treasure because of its aesthetic environment. Bandon Trails is the third course of the resort and it is the perfect place to spend some time with nature and play your favorite sport. Old Macdonald is the fourth course. The interesting part is each of its holes has a name. Bandon Preserve is the 5th course with 13 holes. The sixth course called Sheep Ranch was newly opened on June 1, 2020. The hotel was opened on June 10, 1880, but the course was opened on February 22, 1999. It was designed by Jack Nivelle and Douglas Grant. They used a figure-8 layout and placed many holes along the rocky side of the coastline. Pebble Beach has hosted the US Open six times in 1972, 1982, 1992, 2000, 2010, and 2019. It was once again scheduled in 2027 for the seventh time.
