NSYNC members also written as *NSYNC or ‘N Sync was a famous American boy band in the 90s. It was formed in 1995 in Orlando, Florida, and was launched in Germany by BMG Ariola Munich. Justin, JC Chasez, Chris Kirkpatrick, Joey Fatone, and Lance. were the ‘N Sync members. Their debut album was released in 1997 in the European countries and later they debuted in the US with the single track “I Want You Back.”

NSYNC Boy Band

Back in the 90s, boy bands were very famous. Every record company was trying to include 4-5 boys into a group, make them sing and dance until they made teenage girls cry happy tears. Whenever the boy band performed, the seats would be filled in just a few minutes. While there were a lot of boy bands back then, *NSYNC was the most popular and stood out among the rest. The NSYNC band members had five different teenage boys with phenomenal voices and a great look. Music fans gravitated towards the NSYNC boy band instantly. Their hit songs were Bye Bye, This I Promise You, Tearin’Up My Heart, IT’s Gonna Be Me and Pop, and more.

What Happened to NSYNC?

In 2002, the NSYNC members announced that they will no longer record together. In August 2013, the NSYNC band members rejoined for a one-time performance at the MTV awards. In April 2019, Chasez reunited with NSYNC members Lance Bass, Joey Fatone, and Chris Kirkpatrick for a one-night performance. Justin Timberlake

Justin Randall Timberlake known by his initials JT was the youngest member of the NSYNC boy band. He has had the most successful career after leaving NSYNC. In August 2002, he premiered his debut solo “Like I Love You,” at the MTV Video Music Awards. The song peaked at number 11 on Billboard Hot 100 and number 2 on the UK Singles Chart. He’s now recognized as a Grammy-winning artist. Timberlake has also become a talented actor and starred in movies like Freinds with Benefits, The Social Network which was nominated for an Oscar.

He married Jessica Beil a fellow actress, and the couple welcomed their son Silas in 2015.

JC Chasez

Joshua Scott Chasez fondly known as JC Chasez was born on August 8, 1976. Justin Timberlake and JC Chasez were the lead singers of the NSYNC boy band. He had also co-written a few songs for the boy band. After the band decided to stop performing together, Chasez produced his album, Schizophrenic. After the release of his solo album in 2004, he did not make any big headlines in the music industry. He now writes and produces music for upcoming artists.

He also worked on Randy Jackson’s America’s Best Dance Crew from 2008 to 2012.

Chris Kirkpatrick

Christopher Alan Kirkpatrick was born on October 17, 1971. He was the founding member of the boy band and the oldest member of NSYNC. Unlike the other members, he stayed out of the spotlight as much as possible after the group dissolved. He has been on a few music shows.

Kirkpatrick got married to Karly and the couple has a son. Will he go back to the music industry? Not that we know!

Joey Fatone

Joseph Anthony Fatone was born on January 28, 1977. He was the fourth NSYNC member after which Lance Bass was added to the group. He was always known as the comedic relief of the group. He was famous for this goofy personality and hot dance moves. Post NSYNC, Fatone co-starred in the 2002 dramatic comedy movie My Big Fat Greek Wedding and also appeared in the show My Big Fat Greek Life. He’s now a TV personality and actor.

Fantone is married with two kids and still makes TV appearances occasionally.

Lance Bass

James Lance Bass was born on May 4, 1979. He rose to fame as the bass singer for NSYNC. He was the most charming member of the NSYNC boy band. Post NSYNC, he had a successful career in film and television. He is also hosting his radio show and appeared on a few reality shows.

Bass married his long-time boyfriend Michael Turchin. Oh, yes! He came out as gay in 2006.
