The Tokyo Summer Olympic Games will take place from July 23 to August 8, 2021. They were originally held from July 24 to August 9, 2020, but were postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The United States men’s basketball team is preparing to show their best in the games. 12 NBA players are representing the United States in Japan this summer. Kevin Durant, James Harden, Jayson Tatum, and Damian Lillard are well-known players who are set to play for team USA.
The 2020 Tokyo Olympics
The 2020 Summer Olympics is officially called the Games of XXXII Olympiad. They are also recognized as Tokyo 2020, an international multi-sport tournament postponed to 2021 amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. The event will be held in Tokyo, Japan. It is the only country to host the Summer Olympics twice.
The 2021 Olympics will have plenty of new and additional games, including Freestyle BMX, 3X3 Basketball, Madison Cycling, and many more. The debut sports are surfing, karate, skateboarding, and sports climbing. Softball and basketball will be included again in the Olympics after 2008.
The 2021 Tokyo Olympic Games will last for 19 days. Approximately 11,000 athletes will participate in 33 different sports.
